8th of November 2023: Take a nap

That month, Connor moved out and came to live in Mael's city, which was really far away from where he previously lived. One of the first things we did when we got home was to take a nap. Both of us, especially Connor, were exhausted from the travel and stress of moving - though, obviously, only one of us had to deal with over ten hours of planes, and it wasn't Mael. We still nap together at every opportunity, it's just a nice thing to do with friends.

10th of November 2023: Walk on the Beach

Two days after Connor got here, we decided to go for a walk on a beach near the house we were stayin at. Crossing shared gardens, hills, and woods, we went down all the way to the shore, and got to walk there and look at the waves. The tide was strong, and when we arrived, we had to walk a while before reaching the actual sea.

29th of December 2023: Play in Rain

For weeks on end there was little to no rain, or too short to be worth playing in, but finally, at the end of december, we had what we'd been waiting for: a proper downpour. Both of us went out joyfully to get drenched, jump in puddles, and laugh together. We looked onto the river, running fast as the sky came down onto it, slowly rising, and we laughed together, and listened to music, and it was, to me, one of the most joyful moments we shared. Although having to throw all our clothes in the wash and take hot showers to manage to warm up was maybe less pleasant. Still worth it.
